Tyrrells Equine Clinic is situated in rural north Hertfordshire near Royston. The clinic is easily accessible and sign posted ‘Equine Clinic and AI Centre’ from the A505 between Baldock and Royston.

Directions to Our Clinic

1) From A1(M) (junction 9) or Baldock.  Take the A505 dual carriageway towards Royston through the Weston Hills tunnel . After approx. 5 miles take the right hand turn on to Coombe Road sign posted  ‘Kelshall’ and ‘ Equine AI Clinic’. You will need to cross the central reservation.  The clinic is situated on the right hand side of Coombe Road after 1 mile.

2) From M11 (junction 10) or Royston.  Take the A505 towards  Baldock. Pass the Royston MacDonald's, after 1.5 miles take the left hand turn on to Coombe Road sign posted ‘Kelshall ‘ and ‘Equine AI Clinic’. The clinic is situated on the right hand side of Coombe Road after 1 mile.

3) From A10 Royston. Travel on the A10 for approx. 3 miles. Once you enter the village of Reed take the right hand turn just before the Silver Bull Transport Café signposted ‘Therfield’. Follow the road into Therfield for approx. 2 miles. turning left onto Pedlars Lane opposite the Fox and Duck Pub. At the end of Pedlars Lane turn left. After approx.1 mile turn right onto Coombe Road. The clinic is situated on the left hand side of Coombe Road after 0.5 miles.

4) From A10 Buntingford. Travel on the A10 towards Royston for 5 miles. Once you enter the village of Reed take the left hand turn just after the Silver Bull Transport Café signposted ‘Therfield’. Follow the road into Therfield for approx. 2 miles turning left onto Pedlars Lane opposite the Fox and Duck Pub. At the end of Pedlars Lane turn left. After approx. 1 mile turn right  onto Coombe Road. The clinic is situated on the left hand side of Coombe Road after 0.5 miles.

Please note - When travelling with trailer or horse box routes 1) or 2) are more suitable.
