Tyrrells Equine Clinic has a long tradition in thoroughbred race and stud work.  Jason Tyrrell was originally based in a large thoroughbred race and stud practice in the Curragh in Ireland, before coming over to England to set up Tyrrells Equine within easy reach of Newmarket.

Currently Tyrrells is responsible for the veterinary work for over 250 thoroughbreds in training and has 2 vets specifically based in Newmarket to give optimal client care.

During the breeding season 4 of our vets look after numerous small and medium sized studs, both in Newmarket and the wider area; this is a particularly busy time of year, getting mares in foal as well as caring for the new born foals.
