Jason qualified from the University of Bristol in 1994. After 2 years in a rural mixed practice on the edge of Dartmoor, he moved to an Equine referral practice on the Curragh in Ireland. Here he developed his interest in thoroughbred race and stud practice. On his return to England, he worked in first-opinion Equine practices in Essex and Suffolk. The opportunity arose to set up a Practice in the Royston area, which began in December 1999, and so Tyrrells Equine was born. Jason is married to Nicky, a fellow vet and they have four children, William, Patrick, Maggie and Sean along with a menagerie of animals!
 
Jane Lawson-Payne

Jane qualified from the University of Glasgow in 2003. Originally a highland lassie, Jane’s first joined The Equine Veterinary Clinic in Scotland where she spent several years, before spending a stud season in Perth Australia, which inspired Jane’s interest in reproductive and internal medicine work. Jane returned to the UK and having met Richard, moved south and joined Tyrrells Equine in 2008. Jane and Rich married in 2010 and live near Newmarket. Jane’s passion is for eventing and in 2011 qualified for Badmington Grass Roots with her mare Safi. Jane also enjoys skiing and socialising! Jane will be seen accompanied by her devout spaniel Poppy, on her visits!
 
Juliette Edmonds

Originally from Essex, Juliette graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2004. She spent a year as an intern at the Minster Equine Veterinary Clinic in York, before moving to the Yorkshire Dales to work as an equine assistant in a busy clinic where she spent 5 years helping to develop the equine department. Juliette has a particular interest in lameness, anaesthesia and wound management. She is currently enrolled for the RCVS Equine Practice certificate. Outside work Juliette has her own horse, Jess, and enjoys eventing, completing at BE90. Juliette also enjoys skiing and scuba diving. Juliette joined the practice in September 2010.

Corrado was born in Verona, Italy and graduated from Bologna University in 2003 and after working in private equine practices in Italy for two years, he completed an internship in Equine Surgery & Medicine at Byron Reed & Asscoaites in West Palm Beach, Florida. Corrado then returned to Bologna where he completed his PhD in Equine Critical Approach and Critical Emergency Care then pursued his interests in lameness investigation, surgery and dentistry in the field before coming over to the UK where after a short stay at Rossdales he joined Tyrrells in February 2011. In his spare time Corrado enjoys playing lead guitar in his bands as well as running, snow boarding and scuba diving when he is not studying for his certificate in orthopaedics or trying to better his time of solving the Rubik’s cube in 2 minutes!
Catherine Seagroatt

Catherine qualified from Liverpool University in 2003 before joining Bushy Equine Clinic in Gloucestershire on an Equine Internship. Catherine then moved to Newmarket, securing the position as a junior clinician at Rossdale and Partners before spending a year working and teaching internal medicine at a Veterinary Hospital in North America. On returning to the UK, Catherine joined Bell Equine Clinic, where she pioneered the AI side of the practice for two seasons. Following her passion for reproduction and internal medicine, Catherine joined Tyrrells Equine Clinic in December 2008 where she had helped to develop and grow this area of speciality. Hardly surprising then that, on a personal level Catherine’s interests include horse breeding and showing, skiing, travel and swimming.
